New location, new liveries and a cool real-life experiment, it’s DiRT Roadbook time!
Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi – Available Now in DiRT Rally 2.0
This week we head off to Abu Dhabi to take on the Yas Marina Circuit. Known primarily as the finale of the FIA Formula One World Championship, 2019 saw the futuristic racetrack play host to the 2019 FIA World Rallycross Championship season opener. Now it’s your turn to take on the tight chicanes, ramp-like kerbs and the most exciting Joker Lap rejoin on the entire calendar.
Yas Marina Circuit is available in all DLC bundles that contain Season 3, you can also buy the circuit individually if you wish.
Season 3 Stage 2 Liveries – Available Now in DiRT Rally 2.0
Also available this week are a new set of liveries for Season 3 players, for the following cars:
- Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500
- Ford Fiesta R2
- Ford Focus RS Rally 2007
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X
- Peugeot 208 WRX
You may notice the Ford Focus RS Rally 2007 in there, a car we’ve seen lots of requests for regarding a new livery. Normally we tend to use base game cars for bonus liveries, but the community decided this car needed some love so we responded with this swanky new design. The designs of bonus liveries in general have also changed in recent weeks based on all your feedback; you wanted more realistic rally designs with more sponsors displayed, so here we go!

Pro Mountain Biker Gee Atherton takes on Rallying (and DiRT Rally 2.0)
Red Bull Motorsports have been busy with all sorts of cool stuff recently, as they typically tend to be. One such thing to watch is how they’re taking downhil mountain biker Gee Atherton from 2 wheels to 4, with some pretty cool tech involved. Ford provided this state-of-the-art helmet which reads Gee’s brain data, giving great insight into the mental state of a driver.
The simulator of choice before he takes to the real road? DiRT Rally 2.0. Take a look at the video above, and read more about the project below:
That’s it for another week, and once again I’d like to extend a congratulations to everyone at Codemasters who worked on GRID, which is available now.
See you all soon,
